Zucchini: Keep an eye out for those blossoms!

Thursday July 10, 2008
Zucchini blossomsI confess that I'm not too enthusiastic about zucchini: they're nice in the summer, and sautéed zucchini with or without meat are tasty and easy to make, but they really don't grab me, and the situation doesn't change too much when they work their way into pasta or, perhaps with chicken.

Zucchini blossoms, on the other hand, are a very different matter, and indeed are a good reason for planting a vegetable garden. They're delightful fried, perfect in risotto, and ideally suited to stuffing.
Buon Appetito!
