Question Number 10
Ada Boni?
No.
She began cooking as a hobby with her husband, and went on to found a cooking school for Roman aristocrats. In 1928 she published Il Talismano della Felicità, a massive volume with thousands of recipes. In many ways it's the acme of upper middle class cooking, with a great many refined and every-day dishes, but all the regional specialties are run through a filter, and watered down a little. A useful book to have, however, because it is comprehensive.
