Question Number 10

Margherita di Savoia?
Yes!

The daughter of the Duke of Genova, she married her cousin Umberto, who became King in 1878 and reigned by his side until his assassination in 1900. She was known for both her beauty and her kindness, and was immensely popular with her subjects throughout her life.
The Pizza Margherita is the classic Neapolitan pizza, topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella, and basil, a color combination (red, white, and green) that represents the Italian flag.
Siena's Panforte Margherita is also named after the Queen; both she and her husband were enthusiastic fans of the Palio, an exciting bareback horse race.
