Prep Time: 30 minutes

Cook Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 pounds soaked baccalà
  • One medium-sized bell pepper, or 2 smaller ones of contrasting colors
  • 2 medium-sized cloves of garlic
  • Vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Flour
  • Oil for deep-frying

Preparation:

Skin the fish, debone it, and cut it into bite size pieces. Dredge them in flour, fry them until crisp in the oil, drain them on absorbent paper, and keep them in a warm place.

Meanwhile, mince the garlic and pepper, and sauté the mixture in a few tablespoons of vinegar. When the pepper is cooked transfer the fish to a heated platter, pour the sauce over it, and serve, with a fairly fruity white wine.
