It's one thing to buy a bunch of cold cuts, cheeses, and whatnot. It's quite another to arrange them attractively for a party or picnic, and that's where the Perini Family, which runs one of the finest delis in Florence's Mercato di San Lorenzo comes in: the platters on their countertop invite, nay, demand one stop for a nibble, and while this means that they sell a lot of food to nibblers who decide they want more, if you look at what they do with a critical eye, they provide all sorts of ideas for those preparing buffets, parties, or picnics, not to mention those who simply enjoy a well set table.

Here we have mixed cold cuts and more, surrounding marinated garlic cloves.

The cold cuts include, starting from the left of the sign:
  • Prosciutto,
  • Salami,
  • Prosciutto cotto (cooked ham) with a slice of cheese on it,
  • More prosciutto with prunes, I think,
  • Fine grained salame Milanese with cheese,
  • More prosciutto,
  • Cheese and (if I remember right) pancetta arrotolata,
Finally, the green and yellow things to the right of the sign are a pieces of a spinach sformato cooked in a ring mold.

There's a lot to nibble on here.
