Potatoes with Balsamic Vinegar Recipe - Patate all'Aceto Balsamico

Balsamic vinegar goes amazingly well in all sorts of things, from strawberries to steak. Here balsamic vinegar is an inspired accompaniment to potatoes. You'll need:

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound (450 g) potatoes
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • Salt

Preparation:

Peel the potatoes, cut them in half, and then thinly slice the halves to obtain lots of half moons. Cook them in the oil, turning them often, until they are done and a pleasing gold color. Stir in the balsamic vinegar, check seasoning, and serve as a side dish.

Yield: 4 servings potatoes with balsamic vinegar.
