Product catalogs and sites that allow you to purchase by mail.
Adriana's Italian Almond Cookies
Baked to order in Sicily and rushed to wherever you may be, throughout the world.
The American Spice Company
A nicely done site by a veteran purveyor of spices. All sorts of things, from oils and rubs to the possibility of having spices prepared with your name on the packets (for restaurants & stores, but would make a nice gift idea too).
Bari Gourmet Online
All sorts of tasty things, including a wide selection of sausages, which are always nice to enjoy.
Bob Pastorio's Foods
All sorts of things, including: curds, chocolates, hot sauces, jams and jellies, and vinegars and oils. Beautifully done with great ideas for what to do with the things once you have them (often half the battle).
The Boscovivo Market
A wide range of products, from truffles to Chianina beef (the latter if you're in the EEC). You'll also find recipes if you click on the advice buttons of the individual product descriptions, which are handy if you're curious.
Cascina San Cassiano
Elio Rossetto's family raised cattle outside Alba, in a centuries-old cascina outside Alba until the city changed the zoning on them. Now they make an incredible range of delicacies that are well worth keeping an eye out for. And they're quite pleasant, should you visit the area.
Cyber Cucina
An online store with a Mediterranean flair, though they've also got other things too. For example, the Fruits, Jams & Syrup section goes from raspberries in Freisa to Vermont Maple Syrup. Mariolina's notebook is interesting too.
Di Bruno Brothers, the House of Cheese
A well stocked delicatessen with a vast selection of cheeses and home-cured meats, as well as olive oil, olives, vinegars, coffee and more.
Fante's
A Company with an astonishing range of cookware for professional and amateur alike. It's the sort of site one can get stuck in, and I mean this in a positive sense. Lots to explore.
The Flying Noodle
A fun, slightly zany store with pasta and all sorts of other goodies and gifts, as well as recipes, instructions, a newsletter and more.
The Gourmet Gallery
An eclectic online store with everything from hand-made Bavarian knives and Italian Espresso machines to maple butcher blocks.
La Lama's Family Store
An online store specilizing in Italian baked good, especially pastries.
Licata
A Sicilian company that produces a wide variety of gourmet foods using tradtional recipes. Their peppers packed in oil are very good, as are their patés.
Pasta Concerto
A Californian company that makes a number of sauces, including a variety of pesti, as well as pasta.
The Olive Oil Source
Everything you need to press your olives, whether you're a 1-tree amateur or have a grove.
Ottavia's Suitcase
Ottavia left Italy for San Francisco, where she "married the geek of her dreams..." Now she's bringing bits and pieces of Italy home with her, selling some and giving away others (i.e. advice and direction). A neat site with lots of interesting nooks and crannies, even now (it's new).
Riseria di Lenta
Piemontese rice growers who grow all the classic varieties of Italian rice, and also an interesting black rice born of crossbreeding Italian and Chinese rice.
Salami.Com
"The old fashioned flavors you remember" is their slogan, and the store looks to be very well stocked -- hundreds of items.
The Spoon Lady
Hand-made wooden spoons, perfect for stirring tomato sauce or as a gift.
Stella Foods
They sell a wide variety of products, including lots of different kinds of fish. In Italian.
A Taste of Italy
All sorts of things, from coffee to selections of spicy foods to cookie baskets. Good for the holidays!
The Truffle Market
They sell both whites and blacks.
WineAccess
The best wine shop on the Net, in terms of fascinating content, user forums, and expert advice. What's more, they can supply wine throughout the US legally!
